This modified Stearns rescue suit is a one-piece (attached boots, five-fingered gloves and
hood), closed-cell, neoprene foam rubber construction with nylon lining inside and out.
Modifications include the following: A built-in chest harness with front (ice) and rear (open
water) self-hookup or disconnect points: single 6,000 candlepower head-directed waterproof
light; rescue knife and case for cutting-free of entanglements. Ice awl with wrist case; and a
yellow, day / night rescue signal patch for hand, sound, or light communications. As an
added bonus, all retail sales of this item include an eight page MARSARS produced technical
pamphlet that details the use, care and maintenance of all included features.
